Building on last year’s momentum, the Vedanta Zinc City Half Marathon aims to strengthen community spirit and promote a culture of health and fitness. This year, Hindustan Zinc is engaging corporates, NGOs, and running groups through pre-marathon meet-and-greet initiatives to expand participation and foster meaningful partnerships. The marathon will feature races like the half marathon (21km), cool run (10 kms), dream run (5 km) along with the much-loved Race with Champions, where specially – abled children will run a featured race and be felicitated, celebrating inclusivity and resilience.
Recognized as India’s Most Beautiful Marathon, the route takes runners through Udaipur’s breathtaking landscape, from the tranquil expanse of Fateh Sagar Lake to the majestic Aravali ranges. Participants will experience the city’s rich heritage and natural beauty at every step, making this marathon a journey through one of India’s most picturesque destinations. To enhance the experience for participants, special arrangements by Anybody Can Run will be in place. Hydration stations will be strategically located along the route, providing essential refreshments. Additionally, medical stations and resting spots will be available, staffed by experienced physiotherapists and doctors.
