The seminar delved into the untold stories of western Odisha’s freedom fighters, such as Veer Surendra Sai and the tragic Kudopali Massacre. These narratives, often overshadowed by mainstream history, were brought to life through academic papers and keynote speeches. Dr. Alok Bhoi, Shri Birendra Jhankar, and Dr. Bibhudutta Mishra led a session titled “Freedom Struggles and Culture,” highlighting the bravery of regional heroes who played pivotal roles in India’s fight for independence.
