Yamaha Music India has launched the all-new GCB Grand Piano, the newest member of Yamaha’s GC Series and its most compact grand piano made in Japan. Designed for aspiring grand piano owners, musicians and those looking for a piano upgrade, the GCB brings together Yamaha’s celebrated touch, tone and craftsmanship in a compact design suited for modern living spaces.
Measuring 5 feet (151 cm) in length, the GCB is designed for those seeking an authentic Grand Piano experience while balancing practical considerations such as space and budget.

The GCB is also Yamaha’s first Grand Piano of its size to feature the Tone Collector, helping create a rich and lingering resonance. Its rim construction uses lamination techniques from the GC and CX Series, supporting a sustained and richer sound. The piano also features a sliding music desk, allowing for a comfortable playing position, natural posture and improved visibility of the musical score. Designed with long-term quality in mind, the GCB features a frame crafted using Yamaha’s advanced V-Pro technology (Vacuum Shield Mold Process) at its Iwata Foundry, supporting the extraordinary string tension of the instrument.

The new Yamaha GCB is available in Polished Ebony and is priced at Rs 11,09,990, bringing a new Made-in-Japan Grand Piano option to Yamaha’s piano portfolio in India.
Additionally, Yamaha Music India has also announced a new Polished White finish for its B Series Upright Pianos. The new colour variant will be available for the B30, B20 and B10, priced at Rs 529,990, Rs 409,990 and Rs 339,990, respectively.
