Recognition honours a continuum linking early childhood, education, skills, employability and sustainable livelihoods.
NEW DELHI (India CSR): HOPE Foundation, a division of HOPE worldwide, has received the India CSR Award 2026 in the category of Best Integrated CSR Project – Cradle to Career. The recognition was conferred during the 19th India CSR Summit 2026 at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi, on 16th October 2026.
The award acknowledges HOPE Foundation’s commitment to integrated and sustainable development, centred on creating meaningful pathways for children and young people to build secure, independent and purposeful futures. Its Cradle to Career approach seeks to address the interconnected barriers that can limit opportunity for underserved children and families, extending support from early childhood development and education to skills training, employability and sustainable livelihoods.
The India CSR Award was received on behalf of HOPE Foundation by Chandrasekaran, COO, HOPE Foundation and Suparna Banerjee, Lead – Corporate Partnerships and Alliances. It was presented under the leadership of Rusen Kumar, Founder and Editor, India CSR®, by Dr. Ernst von Kimakowitz, President, Humanistic Management Network, Switzerland; and Ranjit Bajaj, Founder & Director, Minerva Academy Football Club and Dr. Pushpendra Pratap Singh, Managing Director & CEO, Logitrust Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
The recognition also reflects the leadership of Chandrasekaran, COO, HOPE Foundation, and the collective contribution of the Foundation’s programme teams, corporate partners, development stakeholders and community representatives. Their combined efforts have helped shape an approach that views education, skills and livelihoods not as isolated interventions, but as connected stages of an individual’s journey towards economic independence and social mobility.

Building Opportunity Across Life Stages
At the heart of HOPE Foundation’s Cradle to Career model is the belief that the cycle of poverty cannot be addressed through short-term support alone. Children and young people often face multiple and overlapping challenges, including limited access to quality education, inadequate exposure to skills, financial constraints, low employability and restricted livelihood opportunities for their families.
The Foundation’s integrated framework aims to respond to these realities across different stages of life. It seeks to enable children to access early learning and education, equip young people with relevant skills and career pathways, and support individuals and families in moving towards sustainable livelihoods. By connecting these stages, the model works to ensure that socio-economic circumstances do not determine a child’s future.
The approach recognises that a child’s development is closely linked with family wellbeing, access to opportunities and the ability of communities to support aspiration. Through this continuum, HOPE Foundation seeks to create conditions in which young people can complete their education, improve their employability, achieve economic independence and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Recognition for Integrated CSR
The India CSR Award underlines the growing importance of CSR models that are long-term, collaborative and responsive to community realities. While one-time interventions can meet immediate needs, integrated programmes have greater potential to create durable outcomes by addressing the underlying factors that affect education, employment and economic resilience.
HOPE Foundation’s work demonstrates how CSR can support a sustained development journey rather than a single point of assistance. Its model brings together education, skills development and livelihood opportunities to create a more coherent pathway from childhood to adulthood. This integrated perspective is especially relevant for underserved communities, where the absence of support at any stage can affect an individual’s ability to progress.
The recognition strengthens the Foundation’s resolve to deepen partnerships, expand impactful programmes and advance inclusive development across India. It also reinforces the role of corporate and development partnerships in helping children, young people and families gain access to opportunities that enable them to thrive.
