JSPL Foundation serves food, water to Rath Yatra devotees

Bhubaneswar – Jindal Steel & Power Ltd’s CSR arm – JSPL Foundation served food and drinking water to over 125,000 devotees during the Rath yatra in the Puri district of Odisha. J

An annual affair, the Rath Yatra commemorates Lord Jagannath’s annual visit to Gundicha Temple via Mausi Maa Temple near Balagandi Chaka, Puri. LaSeveral hundred thousand devotees take part in the occasion.

The festival commemorates Jagannath’s annual visit to Gundicha Temple via Mausi Maa Temple (maternal aunt’s home) near Balagandi Chaka, Puri.

The free food distribution was continued on 3 July, 4 July – the RathYatra Day, 6 and 7 Jul – Gundicha Yatra and between 11 and 13th Jul.

“It is all for the Wishes of Lord Jagannath, we are only His Sewaks,” JSPL Foundation’s co-chairperson Shallu Jindal said.
