Assam HSLC Results 2023: Hridam Thakuria of Sankardev Shishu Niketan, Dhekiajuli, in Sonitpur district, has emerged as the state topper in the Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2023, securing an outstanding score of 596 out of 600 marks.
Thakuria, a student of science stream, has scored 100 in all subjects except mathematics, where he has scored 96. He is the son of a government employee and a homemaker.
The overall pass percentage in the HSLC examination this year is 72.69%, which is an increase of 14% from last year. A total of 3,01,880 students out of 4,15,324 who appeared for the examination have passed.
The results were declared by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) on Monday morning. Students can check their results on the official website of SEBA at sebaonline.org.
Girls Outperform Boys in Assam HSLC Exam
Girls have outperformed boys in the Assam HSLC examination this year, with a pass percentage of 70.96% as compared to 74.71% for boys.
A total of 1,83,507 girls out of 2,39,999 who appeared for the examination have passed, while 1,18,373 boys out of 1,75,325 have passed.
The overall pass percentage for science stream is 75.67%, while it is 70.85% for commerce stream and 68.89% for arts stream.

Students can check their HSLC examination results on the official website of SEBA at sebaonline.org. They can also download the SEBA Results mobile app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
To check their results on the website, students need to enter their roll number and date of birth. They can also check their results by SMS by sending their roll number to 56767.
