National Council of Educational Research and Training, short for NCERT, is the government organization of India. It sets the rules and regulations of education for the students. Adopting the strict guidelines of CBSE, NCERT shares its view through various sources. One of the main sources is books. These books range from every class with a variety of subjects.

Similarly, there is a Maths NCERT solutions class 10 by Vedantu, which ensures a accurate solutions for all the questions for free of cost:

UNIT NUMBERUNIT NAMEWEIGHTAGE
1Number System06
2Algebra20
3Coordinate Geometry06
4Geometry15
5Trigonometry12
6Mensuration10
7Statistics and Probability 11
TOTAL80

As it is clear from the above, the total marks question paper contains is 80. The rest 20 marks are given by the school itself in the form of internal assessment.

The level of question paper is set from an easy to moderate level. It is so because both the NCERT and CBSE agree on the fact that each and every type of student is able to bring maximum marks.

However, many average and weak students don’t even take the above information seriously and wonder all the time,  gaining 85+% is not their cup of tea. If you are someone with a similar mindset, then you really need to change the way of thinking.

Tips During the Exam Time, to Gain Maximum Marks

You might have never thought of the practices that directly affect your marks. But, there are many do’s and don’ts that you should take care of. Here are some of the best practices that you should definitely do in order to get your dream marks.

Make a list of formulas

This is considered as one of the best practices, especially in mathematics. Every mathematics syllabus contains tonnes of formulas, theorems, and even special points. Chapters of class 10th like- Trigonometry, Mensurations, Statistics, Probability are full of formulas. These chapters also contain a significant weightage in the exam. Thus, grab a white sheet and note down every formula and theorem chapters. This will not only help you to solve accurate questions but will also save precious time.

Practice with Graphs

Graphical questions are often the easiest question in the whole question paper. At the same time, they also have the potential to help you get 10+ marks without much effort. Unfortunately, students take these questions taken for granted. Have you ever did the same mistake and later felt sad about it? Try to solve at least one question every single day. By this method, you will gain the confidence to tackle any graphical question and there will be no need to devote extra time to the statistics unit.

Understand the Format of Question Paper

Be thankful to the Central Board of Secondary Education, for setting a simple and disciplined question paper throughout these years. It is to be said that the CBSE doesn’t make any major changes in the question paper format. You can get a great benefit once you understand the pattern of the format.

Don’t just download the previous year question papers and start solving it. That is something quite obvious. I will suggest you look at question papers in your free time and try to find similar patterns. For example- Statistical questions mostly come in the last section of the paper, containing maximum marks. When your brain will be relaxed, you will easily figure out these patterns. Once got a rough idea about the paper, start solving it for revision purposes.

Don’t Panic At All

I know what it feels like when you realize, “This will be my first time sitting in board examinations”. At this time, it is absolutely normal to ‘freak out’ a bit. Whenever your brain hits you with the same thought, just take a break or try to listen to some music. It will soothe your brain and you will again be able to focus on the studies. Remember, there will be no use of preparation if you can’t fill your answer sheet accurately.

There is no doubt that with the help of NCERT and taking measures mentioned above, nothing can stop you from achieving your goal! As it is high-school that will decide the path of your education and career.
