Falling in line after repeated diktats from the government and regulators, listed companies have stated making public some basic data of sexual harassment at workplace and the disclosed numbers show a disturbing uptick.
Oracle Financial Services Software Limited reported 2 cases of sexual harassment in FY 2018-19.
“During the year, 2 complaints of sexual harassment were received”, report said. Company has resolved both the cases.” company said in its Annual Report.
“The company is committed to provide a healthy environment to all its employees and thus does not tolerate any discrimination and or harassment in any form. The Company has in place a Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) policy in line with the requirment of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. Frequent communication of this policy is done through various programs and at regular intervals.”, company reported.
The company has setup an Internal Complaints Committees (ICC), both at the registered office and at every location where it operates in India, which has men and women committee members as per the regulation, are chaired by senior woman employees and have external women representation.”, annual report said.
The total numbers of permanent employees on the rolls of the Company were 6503 as on March, 2019.
