Through The Complete Artist Foundation Program, The Shakti Collective continues its mission of building the world’s leading ecosystem for professional artist development under its philosophy of “Unfolding Artist Force.”

NATIONAL, 20th August 2026: As the independent music ecosystem continues to grow, artists today have more opportunities than ever before to create and share their work. Yet, while access to creation has expanded, access to meaningful mentorship, structured learning and long-term artist development continues to remain limited.

Built on its philosophy of “Unfolding Artist Force,” The Shakti Collective believes that the world’s biggest challenge is not a shortage of artistic talent. It is a shortage of access to the right guidance, industry mentorship and opportunities that help artists build sustainable careers.

With this belief at its core, TSC Academy, the learning vertical of The Shakti Collective, has been designed to bridge the gap between free online learning and traditional music education by offering structured, mentor-led programmes that combine industry expertise with practical learning and community.

Building a better way to learn
Today’s artists often find themselves choosing between two extremes. On one side are thousands of free videos and tutorials available online. While they provide information, the learning is one-way. A video cannot understand an artist, answer individual questions, assess progress or provide personalised feedback. On the other side are universities and institutions that offer structured education, but are often inaccessible because of geography, affordability or limited availability.

TSC Academy has been built to bridge this gap.
At the heart of the Academy is The Complete Artist Foundation Program, a six-month mentor-led learning experience that combines structured recorded lessons with live mentor interactions, assignments, assessments, community learning and continuous guidance, creating an experience that goes beyond passive online learning.

The Complete Artist Foundation Program brings together three specialised learning tracks led by renowned industry practitioners who collectively bring over 100 years of experience across composition, classical music and music production.

  • The heART of Music Composition, led by acclaimed composer Sandesh Shandilya, explores the creative process of composing music that connects with audiences while helping artists develop their own musical voice. One of the few programmes dedicated exclusively to music composition, it breaks down the craft from idea to execution, helping artists understand and unfold the complete process of creating original music.
  • The Roots of Hindustani Classical Music, led by celebrated vocalist Pandit Prasad Khaparde, the senior-most disciple of Padma Bhushan Ustad Rashid Khan, provides artists with a strong classical foundation while deepening their understanding of one of India’s richest musical traditions.
  • A-Z of Music Production for Singer-Songwriters, led by internationally acclaimed composer, producer and arranger Luca Petracca, equips artists with the practical knowledge and production techniques required to create professional-quality music in today’s independent music landscape. Built around a simple belief that creativity matters more than expensive equipment, the programme shows artists how, with just a laptop, they can create, produce and bring their musical ideas to life.

Together, these learning tracks have been designed to help artists develop not only technical skills, but also the creative thinking, discipline and professional approach required to build a lasting career.

More than learning. An artist ecosystem.
The Shakti Collective is building an integrated ecosystem around a single philosophy: Unfolding Artist Force- Every initiative serves a different stage of an artist’s journey.

TSC Academy | Learn- Professional, mentor-led education through The Complete Artist Foundation Program, designed to build a strong artistic and professional foundation.

The Artist Path | Accelerate- A hands-on artist accelerator where selected artists work on real projects, receive practical guidance, develop original music, refine their artistic identity, build audiences and prepare themselves for professional careers.

TSC Artists | Partner- A selective artist partnership platform that collaborates with exceptional artists across music creation, releases, audience development, strategic opportunities and long-term career growth.

Together, these three pillars allow artists to move from learning, to practical development and finally to professional collaboration within one connected ecosystem.

“Talent is far more evenly distributed than opportunity,” said Rohith Sobti, Founder & CEO, The Shakti Collective. “Artists don’t need another collection of videos. They need mentors who can challenge them, communities that support them and a structured environment that helps them grow. TSC Academy was created to bridge the gap between free online content and traditional music education by making high-quality mentorship interactive, practical and accessible. Learning, however, is only the beginning. Through The Artist Path and TSC Artists, we are creating an ecosystem where artists can continue to grow long after the classroom ends. Our mission is simple. Wherever talent exists, opportunity should be able to find it.”

Through TSC Academy, The Artist Path and TSC Artists, The Shakti Collective continues to build a larger, stronger and more inclusive creative ecosystem where artists have access to meaningful mentorship, industry knowledge and opportunities that help them build sustainable careers and create lasting cultural impact.
