MUMBAI: Day after replacing Cyrus P. Mistry as Chairman of Tata Sons by its Board, the profile of Cyrus P. Mistry and other links including interviews are also deleted from the Tata Official Website and several others group companies websites.

The decision was taken at a Board meeting held here in Mumbai.
The Board has named Ratan N. Tata as Interim Chairman of Tata Sons. The Board has constituted a Selection Committee to choose a new Chairman. The Committee comprises Ratan N. Tata, Venu Srinivasan, Amit Chandra, Ronen Sen and Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya, as per the criteria in the Articles of Association of Tata Sons. The committee has been mandated to complete the selection process in four months. Mistry, 48, remains a Tata Sons director.
Cyrus Pallonji Mistry (born 4 July 1968) is a Irish-Indian businessman. He was the sixth chairman of the group. He is the youngest son of Indian billionaire construction magnate Pallonji Mistry.
On 24 October, 2016, the Tata Sons Board voted to remove Mistry as chairman. Former chairman Ratan Tata became interim chairman, and a new chairman is to be chosen by February 2017.
