Helping Hands will work towards the betterment and development of underprivileged children; Uninor has partnered with two children homes – Save a Child and Hope Home of the Carpe Diem Foundation as a part of this initiative.
As part of this campaign, every Uninor employee in Hyderabad has pledged their time which they will spend interacting with the kids from the two identified institutions.
The launch of this initiative saw employees engaging with the children through interactive and educative games.
The highlight of the day was the collage making competition where each Uninor employee had to play buddy to one child and help him in putting together a colourful collage.
They also helped the kids present the collages on the given theme ‘My World’.
Launching Helping Hands, Mr. Satish Kumar Kannan, Business Head, AP Circle, Uninor, said, “Children are the future of the nation and we are glad to be able to help nurture them through our Helping Hand program.
I along with members of my Andhra Pradesh team have today pledged our time towards these innocent children; each one of us will spend time with these kids every week mentoring and teaching them.
We hope that the experience will be as enriching for these kids as it will be for us ” Helping Hands is Uninor’s unique CSR programme designed to bring an effective and lasting change to the lives of underprivileged children through each employee’s dedicated teaching hours.
