NEEV and URJA CSR programmes have reached nearly 6,800 students across five Indian cities
(India CSR®): Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. has expanded its NEEV and URJA CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility programmes with the deployment of its sixth electric vehicle, in partnership with The Akshaya Patra Foundation. Following the successful inauguration of an electric vehicle in Hyderabad earlier this year, the latest deployment in Delhi will support the timely and sustainable delivery of nutritious mid-day meals to nearly 3,000 students across government schools in Delhi and Hyderabad. Over the past three years, the programme has cumulatively supported nearly 6,800 students across five cities—Varanasi, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Hyderabad, and Delhi, further strengthening the company’s commitment to child welfare, community development, and environmental sustainability.
The expansion builds on Konica Minolta’s long-standing CSR commitment through its NEEV and URJA programmes, which together promote children’s well-being while advancing sustainable community development. While NEEV supports access to nutritious mid-day meals that contribute to children’s health, learning, and continued education, URJA complements the programme by enabling cleaner and more sustainable meal distribution through electric mobility. With the addition of the Delhi vehicle, Konica Minolta has now supported six electric vehicles over the past three years, helping strengthen sustainable logistics for community nutrition programmes across multiple locations in India.
