Scholarship initiative provides JEE and NEET coaching support to students from underserved backgrounds; Mankind Pharma’s KindCare initiative strengthens access to digital learning in government schools
LUCKNOW (India CSR®): The Wellspur Foundation felicitated 38 meritorious students from government schools across Uttar Pradesh under its scholarship programme. The students were selected to receive JEE and NEET coaching support at reputed institutes, including Aakash and Physics Wallah. The initiative aims to empower students from underserved backgrounds with access to coaching, guidance and resources to pursue their aspirations of becoming doctors and engineers.
The scholarship programme is being implemented in collaboration with the Social Empowerment and Economic Development Society (SEEDS), New Delhi, with the support of the Wellspur Foundation, and in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha (Secondary), Uttar Pradesh.
The felicitation programme in Lucknow brought together students, parents and teachers, and featured interactions with scholarship beneficiaries and their families. The students received scholarship kits and engaged in experience-sharing sessions focused on their academic journeys and competitive examination preparation.
Sheetal Arora, Founder of Wellspur Foundation and CEO, Promoter &Whole-time Director of Mankind Pharma, attended the programme and interacted with the students and their families. As part of the engagement, he also visited Rajkiya Mahatma Gandhi Girls Inter College, Chinhat, and Mahamana Malaviya Vidya Mandir Inter College, Gomti Nagar, to witness Digital Smart Classrooms supported through Mankind Pharma’s education-focused initiatives.
The visits included interactions with teachers and students to understand their learning experiences and the role of technology-enabled education in government schools. The initiative forms part of Mankind Pharma’s KindCare efforts to strengthen access to learning opportunities through digital classroom interventions. The programme also recognised teachers for their effective utilisation of Digital Smart Classrooms.
Speaking on the occasion, Sheetal Arora, Founder of Wellspur Foundation and CEO, Promoter& Whole-time Director of Mankind Pharma, said, “I believe we all have a role in creating the right environment for young people to learn, grow and pursue their aspirations. When we provide young people with the right support and opportunities, we invest not only in their future but also in the future of our country.”
The scholarship programme will extend its support across five districts of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, Meerut, Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur, enabling more students from underserved backgrounds to access coaching and guidance for competitive examinations.
Through its scholarship initiative, the Wellspur Foundation aims to contribute to educational opportunities for young people and support students as they work towards their academic aspirations.
