We are at a pivotal moment in history. The scientific consensus is clear: to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement, greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced by 50% by 2030. However, halfway through this crucial decade, emissions are still on the rise. The upcoming COP 30 talks represent a crucial opportunity for the global community to increase climate action ambition and press world leaders to adopt the necessary measures to reduce emissions rapidly and avoid the most severe impacts of the climate crisis.
To catalyse global action, The Climate Reality Project—a nonprofit founded by former US Vice President Al Gore—is launching the REALITY Tour. The goal of this tour is to build the political will, public momentum, and urgency needed for bold climate commitments as the world approaches COP 30 in Brazil later this year.
For the first time, Al Gore will present his signature climate crisis presentation in 12 languages, using cutting-edge AI technology from Metaphysic. This innovation will allow people from around the world to tune in live and gain up-to-date insights into climate impacts and solutions. The 2025 tour will feature in-person trainings in nine Climate Reality offices, including New Delhi, Canada, the Philippines, and South Africa, along with major events in Paris, Nairobi, Rio de Janeiro, and Ulaanbaatar. In addition, the nine Climate Reality branches will host satellite events throughout the year.

Attending a Climate Reality training equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to drive real change within their industries and communities while holding their governments accountable for ambitious climate commitments aligned with the Paris Agreement.
“This is a critical time to reflect on the climate progress we’ve made in the ten years since the Paris Agreement. But we must also acknowledge the significant work still ahead if we truly want to solve the climate crisis,” said Al Gore, founder and chairman of The Climate Reality Project. “The climate crisis is escalating faster than we are taking action. Now is the time to revitalize global leadership on this issue. That’s why we’re launching the REALITY Tour—so people everywhere can stand up and demand the urgent climate action we need to avert catastrophe.”
The tour will unfold in three key stages:
1. Global In-Person Advocacy Trainings
Kicking off in Paris from March 28-30, the city where the Paris Agreement was signed 10 years ago, this training will set the tone for the year’s events. Throughout 2025, the tour will continue with multi-day in-person trainings in Nairobi, Kenya; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
2. Branch-led Advocacy Trainings Worldwide
Climate Reality’s global branches will host one-day trainings in cities across the world, expanding the reach of the movement and building local support for ambitious climate action. India’s training will take place on April 5, where participants will experience Al Gore’s signature climate presentation and other highlights from the Paris event, alongside discussions on local challenges and opportunities.
3. Global Digital Platform
Alongside in-person events, a dedicated digital platform will feature content from the global training in Paris. Participants can watch Al Gore’s signature climate presentation in 12 languages (Hindi, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Bengali, English, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, and Urdu). The platform will remain accessible until COP 30 in November, allowing a global audience to engage with the latest insights on the climate crisis.
Participants of the in-person global and local trainings will become a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps and join the global Climate Reality movement of over 3.8 million supporters worldwide, made up of – climate advocates, business leaders, elected officials, entrepreneurs, concerned citizens, and students – all taking the lead on climate action.

Reflecting on the importance of the work, one past participant shared: “In June 2024, I trained as a Climate Reality Leader in Rome with Al Gore. It was a powerful experience. The training empowers individuals to address the triple planetary crisis of emissions, rising temperatures, and anti-climate rhetoric. With the 2030 emissions reduction targets at risk, world leaders must act now—humanity cannot afford to fall short.”
The REALITY Tour is an urgent call to action and a vital step in achieving the climate goals of the Paris Agreement, building momentum for climate solutions in the lead-up to COP 30.
