Brillio’s Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation: A Message from CEO Raj Mamodia

19th India CSR Leadership Summit 2026

NEW DELHI (India CSR): Brillio, a leading digital transformation services and consulting firm, recently published its ESG Report 2023. In this report, Raj Mamodia, the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Brillio, shared the company’s mission and commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. His message highlights Brillio’s dedication to making a positive impact on the world through innovative adoption of digital technologies and robust ESG initiatives.

Transforming Lives Through Innovation and Sustainability

“We are driven by the mission to transform lives through innovative adoption of digital technologies. We apply the same sense of mission to our sustainability efforts as well, charting our growth with a purpose that stands for a lot more than just the bottom line. We have always viewed our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibilities as critical to our ability to make a positive impact on the world. Our commitment to sustainability is ingrained so deeply in our DNA that it has been integral to our strategy and growth right since our inception.”, says Raj Mamodia.

Transforming Lives Through Digital Technologies

“We are driven by the mission to transform lives through innovative adoption of digital technologies,” says Raj Mamodia. This mission extends beyond business goals to include sustainability efforts, demonstrating a purpose that transcends financial success. “We apply the same sense of mission to our sustainability efforts as well, charting our growth with a purpose that stands for a lot more than just the bottom line.”

Commitment to Sustainability Since Inception

Brillio’s commitment to sustainability is deeply embedded in its DNA. “We have always viewed our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibilities as critical to our ability to make a positive impact on the world,” Mamodia asserts. Since its inception, Brillio’s strategy and growth have consistently integrated ESG responsibilities, reflecting the company’s long-standing dedication to sustainability.

A Decade of Sustainability Efforts

In its tenth year, Brillio’s vibrant sustainability program continues to demonstrate its dedication to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance. Mamodia highlights the flagship corporate citizenship initiative, Bringing Smiles, which has been promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education and career development among underserved children since 2015. “Our flagship corporate citizenship initiative, Bringing Smiles, has been fostering STEM education and career development among underserved children since 2015.”

Empowering Students Globally

Through more than 60,000 hours of volunteering, Brillio employees, known as Brillians, have empowered over 200,000 students in various countries. “Brillians have empowered well over 200,000 students in different countries by igniting their interest, confidence, and skills in STEM,” Mamodia shares. This initiative not only prepares students for a technology-driven future but also bridges the gap in STEM opportunities, contributing to a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Ambitious Goals for the Future

Brillio’s commitment to making a difference extends to its ambitious goal of impacting one million young minds by 2030. “Our resolve and commitment have given us the confidence to take on an ambitious program with an even more ambitious goal—making a difference to as many as 1 million young minds by the year 2030,” Mamodia states. He refers to Bringing Smiles as “the soul” of Brillio.

Fostering Employee Well-being

Brillio’s care and compassion extend to its employees as well. “Ensuring the mental, physical, emotional, and professional well-being of Brillians is paramount to us,” Mamodia emphasizes. This commitment is evident in Brillio’s employee-friendly policies and programs, which create an inclusive and diverse environment. Initiatives like the leadership program ‘WINSPIRE’ and the DEI program ‘ONE Brillio’ reflect the company’s strides toward empowering women and promoting a culture of openness, inclusivity, and equity.

Environmental Stewardship

As stewards of the planet, Brillio takes its role in safeguarding the future seriously. “We have been actively working towards reducing our environmental impact since 2016 by continually strengthening and fine-tuning our strategies, practices, and policies for effective environmental management,” Mamodia explains. Brillio’s adoption of a 100% cloud-based approach to internal IT requirements has significantly reduced energy consumption.

Tracking Environmental Performance

Brillio tracks its environmental performance on several parameters, including energy use, water use, waste generation, and business travel. “We track our environmental performance on a number of parameters to reduce our carbon footprint, conserve resources, and adopt eco-friendly practices,” Mamodia notes. This approach has enabled Brillio to establish baselines and set targets for future improvements, contributing to the company’s achievement of carbon neutrality in India and the US, with a pledge to become carbon-neutral worldwide by 2025 and net zero by 2035.

Sustainability as a Driver of Innovation

To Brillio, sustainability is not just a buzzword but an opportunity to drive innovation, growth, and positive impact. “The choices we make today will have a profound impact on the world we leave behind for future generations,” Mamodia asserts. In times of unprecedented challenges, Brillio’s belief in sustainability empowers the company to lead with empathy, intelligence, and vision.

A Legacy of Positive Impact

Founded in 2014, Brillio applies its expertise in customer experience transformation, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), platform and product engineering, cloud infrastructure, and security to help customers innovate and grow. With nearly 6000 employees across fourteen offices worldwide, Brillio strives to achieve world-class customer satisfaction. “Customer Success: We strive to provide not only what the customers want but also what they need,” Mamodia says. This dedication ensures that Brillio aligns its priorities with customer success, leading to better outcomes for all stakeholders.

The ESG report has been prepared using the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines 2013 (G4.0 Core) as a guiding principle for the year 2023. Primary data was collected through data request sheets, actual performance ratings, interviews, and stakeholder feedback. Secondary data was gathered from annual financial reports and documents, HR records, company policies, Code of Conduct, and other manuals and publications, the company report said.

As Raj Mamodia aptly puts it, “The building blocks of a thriving, resilient, and responsible enterprise that Brillio strives to be are empathy, intelligence, and vision.”

SBI Drives ESG: ₹1 Trillion Green Portfolio & 2055 Net-Zero Target

ESG investing is reshaping finance in India by putting sustainability at the heart of investment decisions. From stock markets to bond issuances and even small retail portfolios, investors are looking beyond returns to consider long-term social and environmental effects. It has moved from the periphery to the core of finance in India. The debate among the investors, regulators, and corporates is shifting from “whether ESG matters” to “how much ESG matters, how fast, and at what cost”.
