Vedanta’s Jharsuguda plant, the largest aluminium producer in the country, has launched an innovative Monsoon Preparedness Center (MPC) equipped with required gear and apparatus to bolster emergency planning and rescue preparedness in its world-class aluminium smelters and power plants.
The brand-new MPC will monitor data from across the length and breadth of the plant for rapid action in emergency scenarios, particularly during unpredictable monsoons.
Parallelly, Vedanta is also fast-tracking digitalization of Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability (HSE&S) monitoring and reporting for unlocking greater agility in analytics-based decision making.
