Partnership aims to strengthen classroom learning and digital access within public education institutions in Delhi

NEW DELHI (India CSR): Human Mobile Devices, a mobile technology company, has partnered with Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Da One Group, to support Digital Shiksha, a digital learning programme that will benefit over 20,000 students and more than 800 educators across 10 Delhi government schools over the next six months.

The initiative was announced on June 9, 2026. It is being implemented under Da One Group’s partnership with the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. The programme aims to support digital learning in government schools through classroom technology, digital curriculum and structured teaching tools.

The initiative has received CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) support from Human Mobile Devices. It is part of the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation’s flagship Digital Shiksha programme.

The programme focuses on strengthening access to digital learning in public schools. It seeks to help students understand classroom concepts through visual and interactive tools.

The Digital Shiksha rollout will cover 10 government schools in Delhi over six months. The programme is expected to reach more than 20,000 students and over 800 educators.

The Foundation said the initiative builds on the impact Digital Shiksha has already created in schools. The programme is currently active across more than 25 schools and has impacted over 20,000 students nationwide, the company said.

Digital Shiksha transforms classrooms by installing Interactive Flat Panels, providing HMD smartphones and enabling access to a licensed K-12 digital curriculum.

The programme supports subjects such as science, mathematics and languages. It is designed to help educators use structured digital tools in the classroom. Students are expected to benefit from more visual and engaging lessons.

Sophie Dhawan, COO, Da One Group, said digital learning is now an essential part of education.

“Digital learning today is no longer an added advantage but an essential part of how students engage with education. Through Digital Shiksha, our focus has always been on creating learning environments where technology meaningfully improves the classroom learning experience for students and educators alike. Seeing the impact created across schools gives us confidence that scaling the initiative further can help build more inclusive and future-ready classrooms,” she said.

Anshita Gupta, CEO, Da One Group, said the impact of Digital Shiksha has reinforced the importance of scalable digital learning models in public education.

“We are pleased to partner with HMD once again as we expand the initiative across more Delhi government schools in alignment with the Directorate of Education’s continued focus on strengthening digital infrastructure in education. Our effort remains centred on creating meaningful and long-term learning impact for students and educators alike,” she said.

Ravi Kunwar, CEO and Vice President – India and APAC, ANZ, HMD, said access to technology can support future-ready learning environments.

“At HMD, we believe meaningful access to technology can play a transformative role in shaping future-ready learning environments and this initiative reflects our continued commitment towards creating scalable and lasting impact within public education,” he said.

The initiative is relevant for CSR, ESG and education stakeholders because it connects corporate support with digital infrastructure in government schools. It also reflects growing attention on technology-enabled education in public institutions.
