LANJIGARH: Energy is a very precious in all forms. Looking to the current wastage of energy there is a need of energy in the upcoming generation, Sesa Sterlite Ltd celebrated the National Energy Conservation day on 14th Dec at the plant premises. All the staffs of Sesa Sterlite and the Partner companies have joined in an Awareness Rally with lots slogans, banners and Postures.
On the eve Dr. Mukesh Kumar, COO & President, Sesa Sterlite Ltd says “As a responsible Company, we hold the earth energy resources as a trustee and it is the duty of all individuals to utilize the same in a very effective manner that we leave behind a better environment for the future generation”
The Rally started from Colony gate and concludes at Main gate with a participation of 2000 people. Energy Conservation meeting has been organized at Plant administration office where all the staffs and workers took oath by reading Energy Conservation Pledge towards aligning with the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency of Country.
Other dignitaries presented in the meeting are Mr Jalaj Malpani (VP-Finance), Mr.V Prem Kumar (VP-Commerce),Mr Koustav Kundu (Head HR), D.Ravindranath (Head Project),B.S.Mund(Head Powerplant).
Similarly Sesa Sterlite has arranged a blood donation camp on the eve of National energy Conservation day at Plant Occupational Center. On the Leadership of Mr Rabi Mishra (Head HSE),along with his team members has arranged the program Dr Marandi, Blood Bank Officer-Kalahandi has attended the program with his team .As per the report from Dr Sabita Swain Chief Medical Officer (SSL), a century Voluntary Blood Donation has been collected. Basically the villagers as well as the workers of partner companies have made the program successful.
SesaSterlite has at a aim to make the area developed in Health,Education,Livelihood and Infrastructure and let the people live a better life.
