NEW DELHI: The three-day ONGC Para Games 2018-19 concluded on 15 March 2019 at the Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi. The events in Athletics, Badminton and Table Tennis were closely contested by around 150 PWD (Persons with Disabilities) employees of ONGC.
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were given to the winners in each of the events (over fifty). ONGC is the only public enterprise in India to organize such Para Games.

Director Finance Mr Subhash Kumar said that the level of enthusiasm in the participants is praiseworthy and the passion behind them to compete is worthy of emulation.
Over 150 PWD employees, which is around 50 per cent of the total PWD employees at various locations of ONGC, participated in the event this year.
The ONGC Para Games, which is now an annual event in ONGC, has been organized following the international format issued by the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI). Some Kargil War heroes, who are now employees of ONGC, also participated in the Para Games.
