Powerball Lottery: The Powerball drawing on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, did not produce a jackpot winner, but it did create some millionaires across the country. One of them was from Ohio, who matched five white balls to win $1 million. The lucky ticket was sold at a gas station in Columbus, according to the Ohio Lottery.
The winning numbers for the $228 million jackpot were 12, 21, 62, 67, and 69, with a Powerball of 17 and a Power Play multiplier of 3x. The cash option for the jackpot was $113.2 million.
$1 Million Winner in Ohio
The Ohioan who won $1 million was the only one in the nation to match five white balls. The odds of doing so are 1 in 11,688,054. The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize at the Ohio Lottery regional office in Westerville.
The gas station that sold the winning ticket will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Ohio Lottery.

Next Powerball Drawing
The Powerball jackpot has been rolling over since it was last won on April 19, 2023, by a ticket in Ohio that claimed a $252.6 million prize. The next Powerball drawing will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 10:59 p.m. ET. The estimated jackpot is $248 million, with a cash option of $122.5 million.
