NEW DELHI: PNB Housing Finance Ltd, in an effort to provide quality healthcare to patients from the economically and socially deprived sections of society, donated healthcare equipment to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi today.
As a part of the programme the company has donated four ventilators to enable uninterrupted respiratory support to the patients in the intensive care units of the hospital.
This program is in continuation to PNBHF’s recent healthcare initiatives in Lucknow, where the company donated advanced equipments to King George Medical University.
Dr. A.K. Mahapatra, Chief Neurosciences Centre said, “Medical equipment donations enable hospitals to get hands on much-needed healthcare devices. Given the large volume of patients at our hospitals, we welcome support from companies like PNB Housing Finance in helping us cater to the need for quality healthcare. It is imperative that other corporates should also contribute their bit towards such initiatives so that the affordability of healthcare facilities could be met common man.”
