BHUBANESWAR (India CSR): Hon’ble Governor of Odisha Shri Raghubar Das met the delegation of 50 students from diverse higher education institutions from Maharashtra, who are on an exposure trip to Odisha, as part of Yuva Sangam Phase 5, on 2nd December 2024. He interacted with the students and inspired them to contribute towards the objective of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. He lauded this initiative of EBSB under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
Yuva Sangam Promotes Unity in Diversity
Speaking to the delegation, he said: “India reflects unity in diversity. The ‘Yuva Sangam’ initiative will support the objective to foster the strength of unity among the youth of various parts of the country.” He urged the student delegation of Maharashtra to gain knowledge about the cultural heritage, traditions and developmental initiatives of Odisha and spread their learnings in their state, which will in turn, promote the inter-state relationship.

“Odisha is a perfect blend of tradition, tourism and natural resources, which has a great potential of growth,” said the Hon’ble Governor. He also emphasized that the New Education Policy is based on India’s ancient knowledge system, developed in line with the global standards. “The youth of the nation should take the benefit of this youth exchange programme as an opportunity to explore the diversity of the country and enhance their knowledge.
Delegation Visits Bhubaneswar’s Research and Cultural Hubs
During the day, the delegation visited ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, Bhubaneswar and Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar and learned about the growth of scientific research and skill development in the State. The also visited Ekamra Haat and explored the rich handicraft tradition of Odisha.
