CG Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: A scheme to empower women and improve maternal and child health

Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has announced a new scheme called Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024, which will provide a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1000 to all married women in the state. The scheme will start from 10 January 2024 and the first installment will be transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts on 10 February 2024. The scheme aims to empower women, provide them economic support, and improve maternal and child health outcomes.

Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024 is a visionary scheme launched by the Chhattisgarh government to provide financial assistance to all married women in the state. Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024 are:

  • The applicant must be a married woman and a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • The applicant must not be less than 23 years of age.
  • The applicant must have a valid Aadhaar card and a bank account linked with Aadhaar.
  • The applicant must submit a marriage certificate or a self-declaration of marriage.
  • The applicant must submit a birth certificate or a self-declaration of birth of her children, if any.
  • The applicant must submit a family income certificate or a self-declaration of family income.
  • The applicant must submit a domicile certificate or a self-declaration of domicile.

Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: Documents Required

To apply for this scheme, women need the following documents:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Age Proof Certificate
  • Bank Account Passbook
  • Identity Proof
  • Passport-sized Photographs
  • Residence Proof (Ration card or residence certificate for Chhattisgarh residents)
  • Mobile Number

Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: Benefits

The benefits and duration of Mahtari Vandan Yojana are as follows:

  • The beneficiary will receive Rs 1000 every month, which amounts to Rs 12,000 per year, as financial assistance from the state government.
  • The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode.
  • The financial assistance will be given for an indefinite period, until the beneficiary is alive or remarried.
  • The financial assistance will help the beneficiary to meet her daily expenses and focus on her children’s education and health.
  • The financial assistance will also help the beneficiary to improve her own health and well-being, especially during pregnancy and delivery.
  • The financial assistance will also empower the beneficiary to take more active role in her family and society.

Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024: How to Apply

To apply for Mahtari Vandan Yojana 2024, you can follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of the scheme https://mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in or go to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) in your area.
  • Select the online application option from the homepage or ask the CSC operator to help you.
  • Fill out the application form with your personal and bank details. Make sure the information is correct and complete.
  • Scan and upload the required documents, such as Aadhaar card, marriage certificate, income certificate, etc. You can also submit them offline at the nearest Anganwadi Center or Women and Child Development Department office.
  • Click on the submit button and take a printout of the confirmation page. You will also receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email id.
  • The last date to apply for the scheme is 20 February 2024. The first installment of Rs 1000 will be transferred to your bank account on 10 February 2024.
