Mumbai – Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL) has set-up a water project covering 6 hamlets in Maharashtra, a company release said. The safe drinking water project will pump over 100,000 litres of water from the government pipeline to Balwad village.
The project aimed at tackling the scarcity of water in the region is likely to benefit over 300 families.
“At Mahindra Logistics, we strongly believe in giving back to the society. With an earnest desire to empower communities, we have set up this Water Supply Project covering 6 hamlets at our adopted village Tembha,” Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pirojshaw Sarkari said.
Mahindra Logistics is a USD 1 billion private equity division of the Mahindra Group. MLL is an integrated third-party logistics service provider which serves over 350 corporate customers across various industries.
