The chapters of the book include Introduction to DevOps & enterprise transformation, Cloud native infrastructure & infrastructure automation, Site reliability engineering & observability, AI-powered DevOps & intelligent release management, Generative AI & AI engineering for enterprise technology, Agentic AI & autonomous enterprise operations, and Governance, security and responsible autonomous operations.

The Expert Evaluation Panel identified this publication as a contribution to the convergence of DevOps, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, platform engineering, site reliability engineering and agentic AI. The book is available via several international distribution and publishing platforms.

A career in enterprise and federal healthcare technology

The Expert Evaluation Panel appreciated Mr. Thason’s professional experience with organizations such as CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Freddie Mac, Hughes Systique and Indecomm Global Services, covering cloud computing, DevOps, enterprise architecture, AI engineering, automation and intelligent operations.

In particular, the panel focused on his contribution and leadership in the release management systems of the Federal Employee Program Operations Center (FEPOC), which supports federal healthcare technology programs for the benefit of federal employees and their families in the US. His work has been regarded as an illustration of how enterprise technology leadership may contribute to the reliability and continuity of systems of significance to society.

The panel highly appreciated his technical achievements in predictive risk scoring, AI-augmented release controls, intelligent deployment automation, autonomous operations and agentic AI workflow as an innovative way of tackling challenges in modern enterprise engineering.

“This recognition is owed as much to the teams I have worked with over the years as to me. Enterprise technology is never a one-person effort – every system I have helped create has always been the result of collaboration between several engineers who tackle difficult tasks.”

— Justin Rajakumar Maria Thason
