NEW DELHI: With on objective towards economic empowerment of rural women JSPL Foundation organized a training programme on ‘Designer Bag Making’ at Angul. On successful completion of this training, 32 women from local villages were awarded Certificates by President Jindal Mahila Samiti Mrs. Sujata Saraogi today at Jan Jeevika Kendra, Mahitala. Mrs. Puspalata Satpathy, DGM (CSR) was also present during the occasion.
Mrs. Sujata Saraogi congratulated the participants for completing the training programme and motivated them for using the acquired skill to enhance their household economy and quality of life.
This 45 days training programme was organized at Jan Jeevika Kendra in collaboration with Sadhbhawana Manav Sansadhan Vikas Sansthan (SMSVS). The Sansthan will provide semi-finished raw material with cutting and the trained women will stitch them. The Sansthan will market all the bags stitched by these women. This will help in assured income for the participating women.
Ms. Sunita Dwibedi presented the vote of thanks to the guests and the participants. The programme was executed by Ms. Hiranmayee Sahu, Mrs. Debasmita Sahu, Mr. Siba Prasad Sen, Smt. BaijayantiSahu, Smt. Subhasini Sahu.
