MUMBAI (India CSR): Vivek Bhide, Regional President, India, and Group Transformation Officer of John Cockerill India Limited – an engineering and equipment-based solutions provider – has been appointed as the President of the Indo-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IBLCCI), succeeding Mukesh Malhotra, Country Manager & Managing Director of Syensqo India.
Bhide’s appointment coincides with IBLCCI’s 60th anniversary celebrations, which is a significant milestone in the history of business ties between India, Belgium, and Luxembourg. As the 61st President of the Chamber, Bhide will play a pivotal role in fostering continued economic growth and collaboration among the member nations.
The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Didier Vanderhasselt, Ambassador of Belgium to India, and Mr. Frank Geerkens, Consul General of Belgium, further underscoring the strength of the relationship between the countries. Additionally, Dr Sharmila Amin – Managing Director South Asia-India at Bertling Logistics India, and Mr. Vasant Pathak, Vice President of NABROS Transport Pvt. Ltd., were re-elected as Vice Presidents of the IBLCCI.
