BHUBANESWAR: Infosys Foundation in collaboration with Akanksha, the CSR arm of Infosys Bhubaneswar Development Center (DC), has partnered with LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), a not-for-profit, comprehensive eye care institution to extend patient care services to community patients and provide space for overnight stay to poor post-surgery patients who visit LVPIE from far-off places.
The donation provided by the Foundation, aimed at benefitting eye patients belonging to economically backward sections of Odisha, was used for the development of OPD rooms and a facility for overnight stay. The overnight stay facility, ‘Ashray’, was inaugurated on May 2, 2017, at LVPEI, BBSR by officials from Infosys Bhubaneswar DC.
