BHUBANESWAR: Hindalco, Hirakud a unit of Aditya Birla Group in the district of Sambalpur in Odisha has observed world environment day. To mark this occasion, a plantation programme was organized inside the company premises. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Head, Hindalco Hirakud addressed the gathering and highlighted on the day’s importance and significance.
Speaking on Environment Day theme of preventing illegal trade in wild life he said that as human beings it is everybody’s moral responsibility to make this world a better place for all living creatures and maintain ecological balance.
Among others, Present during the occasion were Nirmal Sinha Head HR, Rakesh Gupta Head Power, Ravindra prasad, Shivanand Mohanty, Girish Abbot, GD Rath, and other Senior officials of Hindalco. The programme was coordinated by Pradipta Nanda, Siba Panda, Biswajit Parida and other members of Hindalco Hirakud environment team..
