NEW DELHI: Proposals are invited from leading corporates for the title sponsor of the Global Sanitation Summit and Awards – Sanitation for all – Toilet First, which will be held on 27 November 2015, Friday at Pune, Maharashtra on the occasion of World Toilet Day, November 19, 2015.

A number of research agencies, social scientists and thought leaders dealing in sanitation and toilet issues from the country will be participating in the summit. More than 20 think tank and 200 participants are expected to gather in this one day summit. The Summit would provide a forum to initiate a dialogue and enlighten the delegates on various issues related to sanitation, toilet movement, woman empowerment, women dignity and girl child education etc. The summit provides excellent networking opportunities with leading professionals from Govt. Corporate Social Responsibility professionals, NGOs leaders, corporate professionals and other experts.

IndiaCSR insures maximum  pre and post competitive advantage to the sponsoring organizations. Sponsorship opportunities provide an exclusive opportunity the organizations to associate and partner to contribute in sensitizing and addressing the sanitation issues in country. Organizations will be honoured for their significant contributions in building toilets at mass level and introducing innovative affordable toilet designs and technologies.

Clean India mission is required and necessary. India Govt would spend around Rs 2,00,000 crore over the next five years for the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The global sanitation forum is aligned to ‘Swachh Bharat Mission‘ (Clean India Initiative) of our visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  The Swachh Bharat Mission has been launched as a flagship programme on October 2, 2014 to achieve Swachh Bharat by October 2, 2019.

Building toilets was one of the major promises Prime Minister Narendra Modi made during his speech from the Red Fort ramparts in his first Independence Day address last year. Since open defecation is closely linked to diarrhoeal deaths, morbidity, poor education, malnutrition and poverty, the main focus of the programme in the first year has been accelerating efforts towards eradicating it. Towards this end, since the launch of Swachh Bharat, nearly 80 lakh toilets have been constructed.  Almost 4.25 lakh toilets were built in 2.62 lakh schools nationwide in one year.

First Sanitation Summit & Awards was organized on February 6, 2015, in New Delhi. The Summit involved some of the most reputed and competent Indian and International speakers from government and private sectors, research agencies, innovators, social scientists and thought leaders dealing in sanitation and toiletries industries in the country.

The 2nd edition of India Sanitation Summit will be a Summit of its kind in India, which will address one of the most important & basic issue of ‘Toilet and Saniatation’ in our Indian Society. The summit is committed to bring some of the most renowned and competent speakers and experts from across the globe. A number of research agencies, social scientists and thought leaders dealing in sanitation and toilet issues from the country will be participating in the summit. Prominent speakers/Sanitation crusaders and Large no of participants are expected to gather in this one day Grand summit.

For the technology, products and service providers in the area of sanitation and toilet, it is an excellent opportunity to showcase their innovation, innovative product, services and advancements.

IndiaCSR is an active participant of this noble mission to support and create national level forum to discuss various issues related to the toilet and sanitation, health, education, women empowerment and behavioral change for wider social good.

To actualize the achievements of Millennium Development Goal (MDG) target to reduce by half the proportion of the 2.6 billion people without access to basic sanitation by 2015.

IndiaCSR believes that the summit would highlight the problems allied with lack of sanitation facilities and toilets and would also make resolutions to achieve Nation Sanitation Goals by 2019 as a tribute to the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, by eliminating the unhealthy practice of open defecation. Indian Government has envisioned a great mission to develop separate toilets for boys and girls in every school in the country.” Rusen Kumar, Director, IndiaCSR Group said.

“The Sanitation Summit will involve some of the most reputed and competent Indian and International speakers from government and private sectors, research agencies, innovators, social scientists and thought leaders dealing in sanitation and toiletries industries in the country. There will be 20 think tank and more than 200 participants projected in this exclusive summit” Rusen Kumar added.
