MUMBAI (India CSR): Plaksha University’s Center for Thinking, Language, and Communication (CTLC) has signed an MoU with Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), the CSR arm of Kotak Mahindra Group, to implement a three-year development program for 225 meritorious girl students under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship Program. This collaboration aims to provide these scholars with crucial life and career skills.
The program includes personalized training through CTLC’s ProACT initiative, focusing on cognitive, linguistic, and communication skills. The training is structured into three courses with six modules over 18 sessions. It covers self-learning and career goal-setting in the first year, interpersonal skills in the second year, and job market preparation in the final year.
Dr. Ganesh Raja, CEO of KEF, emphasized the importance of holistic development, while Dr. Brainerd Prince, Director of CTLC, highlighted the collaboration’s role in bridging the gender gap in STEM fields and creating social impact.
Duration: The collaboration spans three years, focusing on comprehensive development.
Target Beneficiaries: 225 meritorious girl students are selected under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship Program.
Objective: The program aims to equip students with essential life, communication, and career skills.
ProACT Initiative: Plaksha’s CTLC uses its ProACT initiative to deliver personalized training to the scholars.
