India CSR I July 30, 2022, I Mumbai : Atul Limited spent Rs. 10.54 crores on social development activities to comply with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Law 2014 during the year 2021-22.
In respect of other than ongoing projects, the Company has transferred the unspent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) amount to a fund specified in Schedule VII to the Companies Act, 2013 before the date of this report and within a period of six months of the expiry of the financial year in compliance with the second proviso to Sub-section (5) of Section 135 of the said Act.
On April 25, 2022, the company transferred 4.34 crores. to the Unspent CSR Account as per Section 135(6) was.
2% of the average net profit of the Company as per Section 135(5) was Rs. 1,486.15. The average net profit of the Company as per Section 135(5) for the year was Rs. 743.07 crores. The company has undertaken CSR projects in the Narmada district of Gujarat, which is an aspirational district as identified by government bodies. The company spent Rs. 1 lakh in Narmada district on social development.
