How to Book Tickets for India vs England, 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam

India vs England, 2nd Test: The second Test match of the IDFC FIRST Bank Series between India and England is set to take place at the Dr YSR ACA VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam from Feb 2nd to 6th. The match promises to be a high-octane contest, as both teams will be eager to gain an edge in the four-match series. India, who are currently ranked second in the ICC World Test Championship, will look to bounce back from their defeat in the first Test at Chennai. England, who are fourth in the table, will aim to continue their winning momentum and challenge India’s formidable home record.

How to get tickets online

Cricket fans who want to watch the match live at the stadium can book their tickets online via the Paytm Insider app and website[^1^][1]. The tickets are priced from Rs. 100 to Rs. 500, depending on the stand and the day of the match. The tickets are available in limited numbers, so hurry up and secure your seats before they run out. Online ticket holders can enter the stadium with the Ticket PDF in the purchase confirmation email. They do not need to collect physical tickets from any counter.

How to get tickets offline

Those who prefer to buy tickets offline can visit the special counters set up at Swarna Bharathi Indoor Stadium and ACA VDCA Stadium[^2^][2]. The offline ticket sales have been underway since January 26 and will continue till February 6. The counters are open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Physical tickets are mandatory for entry into the stadium for offline ticket holders.

What to expect from the match

The match is expected to be a thrilling encounter, as both teams have some of the best players in the world. India will be led by their charismatic captain Virat Kohli, who will be keen to score big and lead from the front. India’s batting line-up also boasts of players like Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, and Rishabh Pant, who can change the course of the match with their skills. India’s bowling attack will be spearheaded by Jasprit Bumrah, who is one of the most lethal fast bowlers in the world. India will also rely on their spinners Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav, who can exploit the conditions in Visakhapatnam.

England will be captained by Joe Root, who is in sublime form and scored a double century in the first Test. England’s batting line-up also features players like Rory Burns, Dom Sibley, Ben Stokes, and Jos Buttler, who can pose a threat to India’s bowlers. England’s bowling attack will be led by James Anderson, who is the most successful fast bowler in Test history. England will also have the services of Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer, and Chris Woakes, who can trouble India’s batsmen with their pace and swing. England’s spin department will be handled by Jack Leach, Dom Bess, and Moeen Ali, who can provide variety and control.

The match will be played at the Dr YSR ACA VDCA Stadium, which has hosted only two Test matches so far. The pitch is expected to be flat and offer some turn as the match progresses. The weather is likely to be sunny and pleasant, with no rain forecast. The match will start at 9:30 am IST and will be telecast live on Star Sports and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
