He has led numerous MSME development/CSR/Sustainability programs across SouthAsia and Africa and championed IFC’s Sustainability Tools in South Asia.
Ashwini Saxena, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at JSW Foundation, comes with more than 30 years’ experience across India and Africa with reputed development organisations such as UNIDO, IFC (World Bank) and corporates.
He holds Masters degrees in Geology, Business Management and CSR Leadership from University of Geneva.
He began as a geologist and did some important mineral discoveries but then moved on to rural development and became one of the first MSME Cluster Development of the country.
He has led numerous MSME development/CSR/Sustainability programs across SouthAsia and Africa and championed IFC’s Sustainability Tools in South Asia.
He has been invited by various international institutions for providing training on CSR & MSME development, has served as Executive Committee member of Zimbabwe India Chamber of Commerce and such other forums.
He has more than 25 publications to his credit and is a regular invitee at important CSR/ development conferences.
