The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has started the online registration process for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INICET) January 2024 session. The INICET is a computer-based test that is conducted for admission to various postgraduate courses in AIIMS and other institutes of national importance. The INICET January 2024 session is scheduled to be held on November 18, 2023.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the INICET January 2024 session, candidates must have:
- A MBBS degree from a recognized university or institute
- Completed one year of compulsory rotating internship or practical training on or before January 31, 2024
- Registered with the Medical Council of India or any state medical council
- Obtained at least 55% marks in aggregate in all the MBBS professional examinations (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS categories)
Application process
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online for the INICET January 2024 session by following these steps:
- Visit the official website of AIIMS at [aiimsexams.ac.in]
- Click on the link that says “Academic Courses”
- Select the course “INICET” and click on “Proceed”
- Register yourself by providing your personal and academic details
- Generate your registration ID and password
- Login with your credentials and fill the application form
- Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and documents
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 2000 (Rs. 1500 for SC/ST/EWS candidates) through online mode
- Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference
Important dates
The last date to register online for the INICET January 2024 session is October 12, 2023. The admit cards will be available for download from November 9, 2023. The result of the INICET January 2024 session will be declared on November 27, 2023. The counselling and seat allocation process will be conducted online from December 15, 2023 onwards.
