PUNE: The Diversity Day at Scaheffler India is being celebrated to support employees embrace and accept each other, despite the differences, of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity or disabilities.
It believes in gender diversity and inclusion (D&I). The organisation recognises that this is an era of diverse thoughts, culture, opinions, generations and perspectives. Inclusion on the other hand threads these diversities into result yielding opportunities.
Taking this thought forward, Schaeffler India is celebrating International Woman’s Day, March 8, as Diversity Day across hierarchy and organisational units.
In India, multiple Schaeffler locations celebrated Diversity and Inclusion day in different manner. The Talegaon facility of Schaeffler India has organised a Workshop on Diversity and Inclusion by an industry expert for all their employees, while Vadodara facility hosted a special day for Women employees, including workshops and a host of celebrations, putting up games and fun activities for their Women employees that are aimed at endorsing the idea.
