GURUGRAM, HARYANA: Career preparation for the field of data is also evolving because analytics, business intelligence, programming, and artificial intelligence are merging. The above trend can be seen in Gurugram and Delhi-NCR in terms of courses where conventional data techniques are taught along with the more contemporary approach using AI.

What skills are becoming important for data professionals?

Data practitioners are now involved in data preparation, SQL, programming, visualizing, business intelligence, and AI-based tasks. The exact combination depends on the job, but the one thing that they all need is the skill to transform data into insights that can be understood by the business.

SQL still has its uses when it comes to retrieving and handling structured data. Data preparation and analysis can be done using Python. Insights gained from the analysis can be transformed into dashboards and reports using business intelligence systems. Research, analysis, and automation can be done with the help of AI systems.

What does a data analyst typically work with?

For instance, a data analyst usually utilizes various tools, including Generative AI, Python, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and SQL, to visualize the data.

Data analyst does not entail using a specific tool or software application. The analysis process may include gathering information, cleaning it, finding trends, creating visualizations, and explaining the insights in terms of a business case.

This is just one of the many reasons why projects can help students evaluate their professional training programs. This is because a project involves bringing together multiple skills rather than showcasing the ability to use a single tool.

Currently, the data analytics course being offered by Gyansetu in Gurugram entails using Generative AI, Python, SQL, Power BI, and Advanced Excel among other things.

In the context of learners who are researching a data analyst course in Gurgaon, what is of more relevance is the format in which the learning takes place and includes the technical concepts covered, integration of tools, and solving realistic analytic cases.

How is data analytics different from data science?

Whereas data analytics deals mostly with the study of data to identify patterns and trends and assess the business performance, data science may deal with statistical modeling, prediction, Machine Learning, and agentic AI.

These fields have some overlaps too since both data analytics and data science could make use of programming, databases, statistics and data visualization.

Analytics may focus on questions such as:

  • What happened?
  • Why did it happen?
  • Which customer, product or campaign performed differently?

Data science can extend those questions toward:

  • What is likely to happen next?
  • Can a model identify a pattern automatically?
  • Can predictions or machine-learning systems support a business decision?

What does data science training typically include?

Training in data science typically involves programming, statistical knowledge, data management, visualization, prediction modeling, and machine learning techniques.

In addition to understanding the concepts, learners must learn how to apply them as part of a process from beginning to end. Some of the processes involved in a data science assignment include collecting data, preparing the data, exploring the data, selecting features, building models, evaluating models, and interpreting results.

Gyansetu’s data analytics course includes core topics necessary in this field. It also covers real-world projects, which help the learner to gain practical skills

The curriculum becomes another important factor for those comparing data science course in Gurgaon, since having a lot of technologies mentioned in the list is not enough to prove one’s practical skills; one also needs to practice applying the concepts to data sets and business problems.

Where does artificial intelligence fit into analytics and data science?

AI can aid in some steps of the data pipeline, but there is no way to eliminate the need to comprehend the data foundations using AI instruments.

AI-enabled solutions can facilitate the process of code creation, research work, summaries, and repetition automation. Nonetheless, the user has to understand the data behind all these steps, check the output and decide whether the outcome of this work makes any sense at all from the business and statistical perspectives.

Therefore, there is an emerging overlap between classic data analysis and artificial intelligence skills. For example, the analyst may apply SQL for collecting data, Python for managing the dataset, Power BI for delivering the results, and AI solutions for some steps of the workflow.

What is the main skill that is required here? Not knowing more software solutions, but knowing when and how to apply them.

Why does project-based learning matter?

Project-based learning provides learners the ability to relate technical skills to a process of solving problems.

Project-based learning also enables learners to realize their areas of strength and weakness. While a person might be able to write a query for SQL, he may fail to determine what data is to be queried. Likewise, while building a dashboard, a person might succeed but be unable to articulate the meaning of the numbers behind it.

Gyansetu’s role in the Gurugram training ecosystem

Gyansetu offers various training programs for professionals, including topics on data analytics, data science, Agentic AI, Generative AI, Python, Power BI, Advanced Excel, artificial intelligence, and SQL.

Currently, the programs offered by Gyansetu at Gurugram include various technical concepts, along with projects and career-related learning. The data analytics program of Gyansetu includes topics like Generative AI, Python, SQL, Power BI, and Advanced Excel, while the data science program includes Agentic AI, Python, SQL, Statistics, Power BI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Excel.

As the relationship between analytics and AI continues to evolve, the task of learning becomes less about accumulating discrete certifications and more about gaining an integrated understanding of data, tools, and problem statements.

For the students at Gurugram, it will now be important to evaluate any learning programs from a broader perspective, which includes not only what concepts are being taught but also their interconnections and applications.

About Gyansetu

Gyansetu is a professional training institution that offers training courses in Data Analytics, Data Science, Python, Power BI, Advanced Excel, Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. The institution offers learning courses that incorporate technical and project-based training coupled with career readiness training.
