Three-day capacity-building programme in Karnal focuses on experiential learning, scientific inquiry and classroom innovation for government school educators
Karnal, Haryana (India CSR®): Reinforcing its commitment to improving the quality of education in rural communities, DS Group has organized a three-day Science Teacher Training Programme on ‘Nature and Pedagogy of Science’ from July 29–31, 2026 in Karnal, Haryana. Conducted in partnership with Eklavya Foundation and Education Department, Karnal, the programme brought together PGT & TGT science teachers from government schools across the district.
The training introduced the teachers to scientific concepts, process skills, classroom experimentation, learner-centric teaching methodologies and practical approaches that make science more engaging and relevant for students. The programme sought to deepen teachers’ understanding of science as a body of knowledge and a process of inquiry, enabling them to foster curiosity and critical thinking among young minds.
