UDAIPUR (India CSR): Hindustan Zinc, one of the world’s largest integrated zinc producers and among the leading global silver producers, has secured internationally recognised ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications for its Hindustan Zinc Alloys Private Limited (HZAPL) facility. The achievement reflects the company’s continued focus on manufacturing excellence, with globally benchmarked systems for quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety underpinning its growing portfolio of value-added zinc alloy solutions.
Awarded following a comprehensive assessment of the facility’s management systems, operational controls and compliance practices, the certifications recognise the robustness of HZAPL’s governance and production frameworks. Together, they strengthen the facility’s ability to drive continuous improvement, enhance process discipline and consistently meet evolving customer expectations.

Established to strengthen Hindustan Zinc’s value-added products portfolio, the HZAPL facility manufactures specialised zinc-based alloys, including HZDA 3 and HZDA 5, for a wide range of industrial and precision applications. The facility also supports the development of customised alloy compositions aligned with specific customer, process and performance requirements.
Both HZDA 3 and HZDA 5 are certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards, further reinforcing their quality and consistency. Backed by advanced manufacturing technologies, stringent quality controls and environmental safeguards, HZAPL combines Hindustan Zinc’s metallurgical expertise with customer insights to deliver dependable and high-performance alloy solutions.
