India’s early childhood edtech company expands grassroots learning initiative with smart kits and teacher training
MUMBAI (India CSR): Creative Galileo, an early childhood edtech company operating in the education technology sector, said on June 15, 2026, that its Wardha Anganwadi initiative in Maharashtra has reached over 1,600 Anganwadis through Educational Smart Kits, digital learning support and teacher training to strengthen foundational learning among young children.
Smart Kits For Early Learning
The company said the initiative is aimed at improving early literacy, numeracy and cognitive learning during a child’s formative years. The Educational Smart Kits have been designed for Anganwadi classrooms, where many children begin their first structured learning experience.
The programme covers Anganwadis in Wardha district of Maharashtra. It includes smart learning resources, digital classroom support and structured training for Anganwadi teachers.
Teacher Training Included
Creative Galileo said it has pledged teacher training across more than 1,600 Anganwadis. The training is intended to help Anganwadi teachers use practical tools and structured teaching methods in classrooms.
The company said the focus on both children and teachers reflects the need to strengthen learning outcomes at the community level. The approach also places teacher capability at the centre of early childhood education.
Government Representatives Attend Programme
The programme was inaugurated by Minister of State Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar. Government representatives, officials from the Women and Child Welfare Department and community members were present at the event.
The initiative has institutional relevance because Anganwadis are part of India’s early childhood care and education system. They serve children in rural, semi-urban and community settings.
Learning Foundations
Speaking on the initiative, Prerna Jhunjhunwala, Founder and CEO of Creative Galileo, said, “Strong learning foundations are built in the earliest years of a child’s life. Anganwadis are where millions of Indian children begin that journey, and we believe high-quality learning resources and well-trained teachers belong there as much as they do in any urban classroom. Wardha is a meaningful place to deepen that commitment.”
Linked To National Education Goals
The company said the Wardha initiative aligns with India’s NIPUN Bharat Mission and the National Education Policy 2020, both of which focus on foundational literacy and numeracy.
Creative Galileo currently partners with over 4,000 schools globally and reaches more than 5 lakh students through technology-driven learning solutions. The company operates across India, Singapore, the Middle East and Africa.
From a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and public interest perspective, the programme highlights the role of private education technology companies in supporting early learning infrastructure at the community level.
