PATNA (India CSR): The TiE Patna BRIDGE Summit 1.0 wrapped up triumphantly at the CIMP Auditorium, uniting entrepreneurs, investors, and industry trailblazers to fuel innovation and growth in Bihar. Designed as a launchpad for networking, knowledge exchange, and business prospects, the event exceeded expectations, driven by robust stakeholder collaboration.

The TiE Patna BRIDGE Summit 1.0 aligns with SDG Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Powerhouse Backing Sparks the Summit

Sponsored by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, SIDBI, and CGT-MSE, the summit kicked off with a vibrant lamp-lighting ceremony led by Nitish Mishra, Honourable Minister of Industries, alongside dignitaries. Rana Singh, Director of Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, delivered an inspiring inaugural address, spotlighting entrepreneurship as Bihar’s growth engine.

Minister’s Vision: Bihar’s Innovation Boom

Nitish Mishra, Minister of Industries, declared, “Today’s summit showcases Bihar’s entrepreneurial heartbeat. We’re building an ecosystem for innovation and progress. The passion here proves we’re on track—especially with young entrepreneurs blending profit with purpose for a brighter future.”

TiE Patna’s Triumph: A Summit Beyond Dreams

Kumod Kumar, President of TiE Patna, beamed, “The BRIDGE Summit 1.0 has outshone our hopes. It’s a hub of ideas, connections, and inspiration. The engagement and discussions reflect our mission to nurture thriving entrepreneurs, marking a bold step forward for Bihar.”

Collaborative Power: Blueprint for Success

Ajit Ranade, Economist & Former VC of Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics, stressed, “Government sets the stage, but public and private players must co-star. Together, we’ll craft a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures talent, driving sustainable growth and prosperity in Bihar.”

SIDBI’s Startup Boost Lights Up Bihar

Anubha Prasad, GM – SIDBI, affirmed, “Supporting startups is SIDBI’s core. This summit opens doors to understand entrepreneurs’ needs, paving the way for collaborations. I’m thrilled with TiE’s Pre-Nurture and Nurture programs—real game-changers for Bihar’s startup scene.”

CGT-MSE’s Pledge: Building Bihar’s Future

Manish Sinha, CEO of CGTMSE, emphasized, “CGT-MSE is all in for Bihar’s entrepreneurial rise. Events like this summit unite key players, pushing progress. I’m confident it’ll deliver real results for the state’s development.”

IOCL Fuels Innovation at the Helm

Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, Executive Director and State Head (Bihar & Jharkhand) of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, noted, “Innovation drives sustainable growth. This summit lets entrepreneurs shine with bold ideas, promising a transformative impact across Bihar and beyond.”

Panel Power: Funding and Purpose Unleashed

Two standout panels lit up the summit. “Navigating the Investment Landscape” featured experts like Manish Sinha and Anubha Prasad, moderated by CA Pallavi Jha, decoding funding strategies. “Sustainable Entrepreneurship: Profit with Purpose,” moderated by Abhishek Sinha, with voices like Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, championed blending purpose into profits.

Virtual Wisdom and Masterclass Magic

Swati Majumdar, Pro-Chancellor of Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Pune, and Pro-Chancellor of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, joined virtually, underscoring education’s role in entrepreneurship. Anubhav Tiwari, Chief Innovation Officer at NIELIT-MeitY, G.O.I, and charter member of TiE Patna, delivered a masterclass, arming attendees with practical innovation tools.

Bihar’s Startups Steal the Spotlight

A thrilling highlight was Bihar’s promising startups showcasing their ideas via five-minute videos. This segment not only amplified their visibility but also celebrated the region’s bubbling entrepreneurial talent, inspiring all present.

Gratitude and Momentum: A Grand Finale

Vibhash Kumar, TiE Patna Executive Director, closed with a vote of thanks, saying, “This summit fills me with pride. The energy here is electric—a fusion of ideas and passion. Thanks to all who made it happen. Let’s keep pushing Bihar’s entrepreneurial frontier!” Mementos honored dignitaries and panelists.
