A Skyward Adventure at Angul: A Four-Day Extravaganza of Paramotoring, Parasailing, and Hot Air Ballooning

ANGUL (Odisha)/India: Angul’s Savitri Jindal Airport recently turned into an arena of exhilarating aerial adventure, marking a first in the region’s history. From January 13th to 16th, 2024, the sky above Angul was dotted with vibrant colors and dynamic movements, as the airport hosted an array of air adventure activities. These activities included paramotoring, parasailing, and hot air ballooning, each offering a unique way to experience the thrill of flight.

Jindal Steel & Power’s Initiative: ‘Dil Se’

Organized by Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) under its employee engagement programme ‘Dil Se,’ this event was more than just an adventure; it was a testament to JSP’s dedication to its employees’ well-being and happiness. The initiative successfully brought together employees, their families, government officials, and locals from surrounding villages, fostering a sense of community and shared excitement.

A Canvas of Aerial Displays: The Activities

The event catered to a wide range of participants, from adrenaline junkies to first-time adventurers. Vertical India Group, a renowned name in adventure sports, partnered with JSP to ensure a safe and thrilling experience for all. The event saw about 600 participants, including employees and their family members, taking to the skies in paramotors, parasails, and hot air balloons, embodying the spirit of adventure and freedom.

The atmosphere at Savitri Jindal Airport was electric, filled with joy and camaraderie. Participants captured unforgettable memories against the backdrop of the beautiful skies of Angul.
