HYDERABAD: Raintree Park, popularly known as Malaysian Township, conducted its 2nd annual run on Sunday morning. The event was a mega success with runners turning up in big numbers to promote community comradery and fitness awareness.
It was a sight to behold as the crowd painted the township yellow with their bright colored T-shirts. The enthusiasm was palpable as the crowd which ranged from 4 years to 74 years of age gyrated on the Zumba dance moves before the run.
Laxman Reddy, Chairman of MLRIT group of institutions, who is a fitness enthusiast and holds various race categories records graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Rajesh Vetcha, Chief of Hyderabad Runners appreciated the energy of the crowd and meticulous planning of organizers.
The event was conducted under the guidance of WAO-RTP and Hyderabad Runners Society and was supported by sponsors like ICICI, Incor, Confluence, Global Hospitals and more.
