NEW DELHI: Matteo Rizzi, Global Expertise & Authority, WASH Household Care at Unilever will be delivering a special talk at India Sanitation Summit ‘Sanitation for All-Toilet First’ to be held at PHD Chamber, New Delhi on Feb 6, 2015. Summit is being organized by IndiaCSR group with the support of Domex and Hindustan Unilever Ltd, a leading global FMCG brand.
Matteo leads the Domex Toilet Academy programme run in India and Vietnam, and the Domestos sanitation schools programme running in eight countries. He is also advising on Unilever’s sanitation behaviour change research, capacity building activity and benchmarking projects.
The India Sanitation Summit will involve some of the most reputed and competent Indian and International speakers from government and private sectors, research agencies, innovators, social scientists and thought leaders dealing in sanitation and toiletries industries in the country. There will be 20 speakers and more than 200 participants projected in this exclusive summit.
Matteo Rizzi is one of Unilever’s leading experts in sanitation and programme development. He has eight years of experience across both NGO and private sector, where he focused on improving health through awareness, programmes and partnerships.
Matteo initially joined Unilever in 2010, helping to establish and develop global private/public partnerships focussed on oral health improvement. In 2012, he joined Unilever’s Household Care category where he developed partnerships and programmes focussed on improving sanitation.
These activities contribute to the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan target of helping 25 million people gain improved access to a toilet by 2020.
Matteo holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Marketing, and is CIM qualified.
