MUMBAI: Wonder Cement Ltd. sponsored mega eye check-up camp at Sub-District Hospital – Nimbahera organised by Sri Sewa Sansthan in collaboration with super speciality eye care hospital (GOMABAI NETRALAYA) of Neemuch, MP.
The camp was inaugurated by Hon. UDH Minister Sri Chand Kriplani, President S. M. Joshi and AVP Nitin Jain on 12 February 2017 at Govt. Sub District Hospital, Nimbahera.
On this occasion minister appreciated WCL’s commitment for holistic development of society. He also stressed on making Nimbahera area free from cataract disease (Motiabind Mukta Nimbahera). Joshi also appreciated volunteerism of Sri Sewa Sansthan.
Hundreds of people from many villages & Nimbahera town participated and out of these people 576 patient were selected for further analysis.
Then 265 patients were selected for cataract surgery to be done at GOMABAI NETRALAYA which has top quality doctors, state-of-the-art facilities and world-class technologies for ophthalmic treatment. These patients will be taken to neemuch in five batches from 13-17 Feb 2017.
All the Surgeries, medicines, transportation, spectacles and further follow-up etc. are supported by Wonder Cement.
In the camp CSR team of WCL, Ex. MLA Ashok Navlakha and many volunteers provided support.
