A PRINCE2® qualification can boost your career as a project manager. After the PRINCE2® course, you’ll be an eligible and qualified individual, increasing your career opportunities and earning potential. You’ll learn how to deliver top-notch projects within the budget and within time. An introductory PRINCE2® course is designed for anyone who wishes to increase their knowledge of project management and practice at any stage in their career. If you would like to work on the PRINCE2® Foundation certification training or Practitioner certification, this qualification acts as a prerequisite.

Below, you’ll find more details about the time it takes to complete each PRINCE2® course.

• What is the PRINCE2® qualification process like?

For most students, completing a PRINCE2® project management qualification will take between three days and three months. Depending on the study format you choose, it may take you between five days and six months to complete the PRINCE2® combined course. The PRINCE2® Practitioner course might be skipped entirely if you already have a qualification in project management. For experienced individuals interested in becoming certified PRINCE2® practitioners, this advanced qualification is designed for them.

• Is PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation Qualification Time-Consuming?

Students who take PRINCE2® Foundation certification training full-time in a classroom usually complete the course in two to three days that is, thirty to fifty learning hours. When studying part-time online with a full-time job, getting the PRINCE2® Foundation qualification may take anywhere from 1 to 3 months. If you dedicate some time to studying PRINCE2®, you can complete the course in the same duration as the classroom.

• When can I get a PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation & Practitioner Combined Certification?

If students choose to study in a classroom, the PRINCE2® Foundation certification training & Practitioner Combined course, it generally takes five days to complete. The Foundation course and Practitioner course take an average of three months and six months, respectively, to earn a qualification through part-time online or virtual learning. Remember that this is just an average. If you’re able to work on PRINCE2® full-time, you can complete it just as quickly online as in a classroom.

How Effectively Time Consuming Is It?

The time it takes to complete your PRINCE2® qualification varies depending on the method you choose. Since classes tend to be more intensive due to the short duration, students who study in classrooms will likely have their project management qualification sooner. Nevertheless, many people are reluctant to pursue PRINCE2® qualifications in a classroom environment since they’re skeptical about the level of upskilling and learning they’ll receive in such a short span of time. In many cases, this results in students simply regurgitating information in the tests, often forgetting it all afterward. Studying online, however, will give you the freedom to learn at your own pace and at your own convenience. It makes learning and remembering course information much easier if you are able to structure your course keeping in mind your convenience, assigning yourself certain times of the day for studying.
