NEW DELHI (India CSR): Access to timely, accurate, and relevant information is essential for inclusive rural development. It empowers farmers to make informed decisions, adopt improved agricultural practices, access government schemes, and enhance their livelihoods.
In an interview with Doordarshan Haryana’s Kisan program, Pooja Oberoi Murada, Principal Lead, Outreach for Development at S M Sehgal Foundation, highlighted the role of communication and community media in delivering timely, reliable information to rural communities.

Community Radio Connect FM 107.8
As part of this effort, Community Radio Connect FM 107.8, an initiative of S M Sehgal Foundation, serves as an effective last-mile communication platform.
