After Successfully Transforming 100 Young Lives Last Year, the Hospital Reaffirms Its Commitment to Ensure No Child is Denied Lifesaving Heart Treatment Due to Financial Constraints

FARIDABAD (India CSR): Reinforcing its commitment to making advanced healthcare accessible to every child, Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 8, Faridabad has announced the launch of a major Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to provide 100 free paediatric cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children, suffering from congenital and other critical heart diseases. The initiative is aimed at ensuring that children from economically weaker families receive timely, lifesaving cardiac treatment without the burden of financial constraints.

The announcement comes on the back of the overwhelming success of Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 8, Faridabad’s previous CSR programme, under which the hospital successfully performed 100 free paediatric cardiac surgeries over the past year, giving children a new lease on life and helping families overcome one of the most challenging phases of their lives.

Encouraged by the transformative impact of the initiative, Sarvodaya Sector 8, Faridabad has renewed its commitment by extending the programme for another 100 children. The initiative reflects the hospital’s unwavering vision of delivering world-class healthcare with compassion and ensuring that no child is denied treatment because of an inability to pay.

Congenital heart disease is among the most common birth defects worldwide, affecting nearly 8-10 out of every 1,000 live births. While many of these conditions can be successfully treated through timely intervention, thousands of children in India continue to miss out on lifesaving surgeries due to financial limitations, delayed diagnosis, or lack of access to specialized paediatric cardiac care.

Under this CSR initiative, eligible children diagnosed with congenital or other critical heart diseases will receive comprehensive treatment, including surgery, at no cost.
