The company has committed to hiring 500 individuals from among the flood-affected people and victims of Assam in logistics, backend, production, and operations roles over the course of this calendar year, the company said.
The announcement, made as part of the company’s Independence Day commitment, underscores Saraf Furniture’s dedication to inclusive growth and nation-building. By extending employment opportunities to those who have lost their homes and livelihoods to the catastrophic floods in Assam — which have affected nearly 4.89 lakh people across 19 districts — the company aims to provide not just jobs, but a pathway to recovery and dignity for affected families.
