Reckitt, the hygiene leader, has announced the second phase of its ‘Dettol Diarrhoea Net Zero’ initiative in Uttar Pradesh, India, targeting preventable diarrhoeal deaths in children under five. Aligned with WHO’s 7-point plan, the program aims to save 100,000 lives by improving awareness and education on diarrhoea prevention and treatment.

The initiative has distributed 6,000 kits comprising sanitizers, zinc, ORS, and educational material. It will now expand into 12 more districts, training an additional 10,000 ‘Gulabi didis’ to fight against maternal and infant mortality.
